Show Barns and Covered Arena from West
The Pierce College Equestrian Center is located on the west side of the Los Angeles Pierce College campus in Woodland Hills, California. The facility is minutes from the 101 and 118 freeways, major Southern California transportation arteries, and is within easy reach of surrounding communities with substantial, and varied, horse populations. Major hotels, restaurants and shopping centers are easily accessed just minutes from the facility.
Current facilities include two enclosed 20 stall horse barns, a covered riding arena, two lighted outdoor arenas and, as of spring 2014, a not yet completed third outdoor arena. Additional facilities include an 18-stall mare-motel, five pipe corals with covers and three horse paddocks that are in use for school horses from September through May. See Facility Description for specific details.
The North section is available for horse trailer parking, portable stalls and participant R.V.s. This huge area has a decomposed granite surface, electrical connections and water bibs. The two center isle barns include restrooms with shower, wash racks and cross ties. Additional restroom facilities are located between outdoor performance arenas. See Facility Gallery for pics.
